Common Issues and Solutions
Sign-In Problems
Unable to sign in with organization credentials
Verify that your email address is correct
Check if your organization uses SSO (Single Sign-On)
Try resetting your password
Contact your organization administrator to ensure your account is active
Two-factor authentication issues
Verify that your authenticator app has the correct time
Use backup codes if you cannot access your authentication device
Contact your organization administrator or Raycaster support for assistance
Persistent login failures
Clear your browser cache and cookies
Try using a different browser
Ensure your organization has an active Raycaster subscription
Check if your network has any firewall restrictions
Search and Navigation Issues
Global search not returning expected results
Try using more specific search terms
Ensure you have permission to access the content you’re searching for
Check if content was recently added (it may take a few minutes to index)
Verify that you’re in the correct organization
Try clearing the search and starting over
Search within sheets not working properly
Verify your search term is spelled correctly
Check if case sensitivity is toggled on when it shouldn’t be
Try disabling any active filters that might be affecting results
For regex searches, ensure your pattern is correctly formatted
Try refreshing the page if search seems completely unresponsive
Navigation shortcuts not working
Check if another application is capturing the keyboard shortcuts
Ensure you’re not in an input field when trying to use navigation shortcuts
Verify keyboard shortcuts are enabled in your preferences
Try using the mouse navigation as an alternative
Research and Data Issues
Research returning no results found
Verify your prompt is clear and specific
Ensure web search is enabled for external information
Check that the target has sufficient online presence
Try modifying your prompt to be less restrictive
Verify that research API services are operational

Import/Export Issues
Verify your file is in a supported format (CSV, Excel, etc.)
Check that the file size is under the maximum limit (50MB)
Ensure your file has appropriate column headers
Try converting the file to a different format
Check for special characters or formatting that might cause issues
Try exporting a smaller dataset if the current one is very large
Check if you have permission to export data
Ensure you have stable internet connection during export
Try a different export format
Verify that your browser downloads are not being blocked
